Almasi’s Mission

Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive work environment, while delivering the highest level of construction services.  We are committed to meeting environmental and safety standards while taking pride in our work and providing solutions with teamwork and integrity.  We learn our clients’ needs and facilitate successful construction projects through coordination, technology and skilled workmanship.


In 2002 using their combined 75 years of construction experience Anne Marie Almasi along with her sister Laura Bianchini established Almasi Companies, a certified Women-Owned site work and utility contractor. In keeping with family tradition, Almasi Companies provides the highest quality of service and expertise to every project. Services include site work, utility installation, and trucking of stone, sand, certified fills and clay. Almasi Companies has embraced new technology and adapted to the many changes in the industry over the last decade. Committed to meeting environmental and safety standards Almasi Companies’ reputation for successfully completing complex projects under strict timelines has earned the company a solid place within the contracting industry. Family ownership along with knowledgeable long-term employees are what sets this company apart from the competition. Anne Marie Almasi

President & Owner

With over 45 years of experience in the construction industry, Ms. Anne Marie Almasi founded her own site work construction company in 2002. 

As President and CEO of Almasi Companies, a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), she has achieved great success in generating opportunity for the firm. Having tenacity, patience, constant learning, a strong work ethic, while allowing employees to flourish with their own ideas, lead to a slow and steady growth for Almasi Companies.

In addition to overseeing all financial decisions, she is active in many aspects of the day-to-day business operations.  Her responsibilities include marketing, customer service, sales, purchasing equipment and supplies, and managing employee relations.

Anne Marie is an advocate for women in a non-traditional workforce.  She is a strong supporter with leadership roles in many organizations.  Anne Marie is a Past President and Membership Chair for The Professional Women in Construction – New Jersey Chapter, Board Member and Women’s Leadership Connection chair for the Woodbridge Chamber of Commerce, President for New Jersey Subcontractors Association, past chair of the St. James Pastoral Council, and member of the LWE Advisory Board. 

She is the proud recipient of many awards, including the distinguished honor of being named one of the NJBIZ 50 Best Women in Business, Top 25 Leading Women Entrepreneurs, and Professional Women in Construction Women of Achievement Award.

Her passion for helping people and empowering women have led her to create a philanthropic foundation called “Kindness Matters.”

Laura Bianchini

Vice President & Director of Projects

Ms. Laura Bianchini is the Vice President and Director of Projects for Almasi Companies, a multi-generational construction company specializing in site work, utility installation, soil remediation and material delivery.

She manages all phases of Almasi’s construction projects.  Laura is responsible for preparing and administering project budgets, negotiating contracts, quality and cost control, and client relations. She approves expenditures and payroll, develops and implements jobsite policies and procedures and organizes all project documentation. She supervises and evaluates all jobsite employees and subcontractors, administers safety control and ensures compliance with government regulations. Laura also oversees various other aspects of Almasi, including customer service, communications, sales and marketing.

Laura’s undergraduate studies at Rutgers University were in Economics and Accounting and her Post Graduate studies were in Econometrics and International Business. 

She is currently the Chair of Raritan Bay Medical Center Foundation, Treasurer of Hackensack Meridian LTACH Board, Hackensack Meridian Health Foundation Trustee, National Association of Female Executives, National Association of Safety Professionals, 2022 NJBiz 50 Best Women in Business Award Recipient, and active member of several organizations.  She is an OSHA Outreach and Hazardous Waste Operations trainer.  Laura also holds the Homeland Security-Terrorism Authorization Certificate.
